These two visuals are part of a brochure promoting the future vision for Museum HEIM and arts and crafts podium CREA. The two organisations will fuse to OYFO, combining the preservance of Hengelo's cultural and technological heritage and teaching of arts and crafts.
The vision consists of the visualisation of the possibility of the merger, also in physical space. In this proposition two adjacent buildings (left museum HEIM in the former Wilhelmina school and right the CREA foundation) are connected using a glass atrium. My idea was to design the atrium referencing the particular drill towers of the old local salt mining industry, with the tower's silhouet in dark glass.
