Being an Illustrator in Amsterdam I can't help but being influenced by my surroundings. I live in the North part of the city and my studio is situated at the authentic and rough old NDSM wharf. Sea going ships where built there and launched off the ramps into 'het IJ'. If you're a quick draughtsman like me, with a pretty exact image memory, Amsterdam and its inhabitants keep providing visual stimuli.
